​Back-to-brick renovation of an Edwardian mid terrace

​A full width extension was added at the rear of this Edwardian mid-terrace to maximise the existing living space. A dramatic open plan kitchen and dining area was created. The matte black kitchen units were paired with a statement marble terrazzo worktop and double height Crittal style aluminium doors. By removing many of the internal walls we were able to create an open plan space with a contemporary scheme to meet the needs of a young family. Period features were restored where possible to ensure the original character of the house was respected.
